CSc 330 - Schedule for Programs Being Studied

On the class website (http://domanski.cs.csi.cuny.edu), you'll find many topics that are actually links to zip files of Visual C++ code that you can download, study and run.  The schedule, beginning with the second full week of classes, will be as follows:

1-InClassPgm1.zip
2-IsNumericExample.zip
3-ConsoleFunctions1.zip
4-templates1.zip
5-functionsAndArguments.zip
6-Classes1.zip
7-Classes2.zip
8-Classes3-Rectangle1.zip
9-Classes-Rectangle2.zip
10-Classes-Rectangle3.zip
11-Classes-Rectangle4.zip
12-Classes4-Sale.zip
13-Classes4-Sale2.zip
14-Static-IntegerList-Accounts.zip
15-IO.zip
16-AdvancedClassConcepts.zip
17-MarshallStrings.zip
18-INcLASSoPENfILEdIALOG.zip
19-openfiledialog.zip
20-menuguys.zip

You are responsible to download and study these programs each week, this will be much of the material covered in class during the first 10-12 weeks of class.

We will also be studying and building file driven programs that make use of Microsoft's GUI development environment including menus and basic Windows controls.  Falling behind is bad ... staying ahead is good.

Finally, there will be 2 large projects assigned, one, a phone book manager, and the other, an assembler for an IBM mainframe computer.  As stated in class, there is ALOT of programming in this class ... if you can't keep up, you're in trouble.

Try hard ... and good luck!  I guarantee if you stick with it, you'll learn alot.
